    Care Instructions

    Bandanas + Scarves - Most bandanas + scarves may be machine washed and dried with like colors. Some colors may bleed on the first wash. Dry on low heat to avoid shrinkage. May iron all cotton bandanas, avoiding tags and snaps.

    Bow Ties - Handwash only, let air dry.

    Blankets - Machine washable and dry.

    Collars + Leashes - Soap + Water. May use 1/5 vinegar + water for stinky messes.

    Waxed Canvas Items - Wipe with a damp cloth. May reheat worn spots with a blow dryer to remelt wax.

    If you're in need of a mask for yourself, purchase this listing. If you'd like a mask for family/friends and the general public the cost is $12 per mask. If you are a healthcare worker in the medical field, please order when available (I cannot accept individual requests if mask are out of stock) then email a photo of your current hospital ID badge to receive a refund up to $24 for two masks to info@hootandco.com. One ID per TWO free masks will be accepted*. Shipping costs will still be charged. Do not send your badge ID email until after you have placed an order and ONLY when mask are available! 

    Buy One, Give One - You will receive one mask per quantity ordered and a mask will be donated to a healthcare worker. Example if you purchase 2 (BOGiveOne) - you will receive 2 and 2 will be donated* You may leave us a note for the pattern(s) you prefer if it's in stock!   

    Our fabric masks are made with two layers of 100% cotton fabric and elastic. Each mask measures around 7.5" x 4.5" completed and pleated (x3) to allow for expansion and breathing room. Each mask contains a pipe cleaner that is now zigzagged in place to keep it from moving. 

    Tie On Option 1 - The mask come with a single elastic that loops through both sides. Use it as it comes for a TIE ON option. Simply put the elastic over your head, position the mask where you want it to sit and tie the elastic around your head for a snug fit. You can tighten the elastic by tying the knot closer to the head. If the elastic becomes worn you can feed through a skinny rope type material such as a shoe lace to replace it.

    Ear Loop Option 2 - If you prefer ear loops, simply cut the bottom piece of elastic and the top knot off, this will create an elastic piece on each side. Tie each side in a knot to fit your face best and pull the knot into the fabric sleeve. 

    The masks will be shipped to the SHIPPING ADDRESS. If you're purchasing for someone and need them shipped directly to them be sure to put there shipping address in at checkout.
